Who we are
CAUKIN Construct is a South Wales–based, design-led construction company specialising in extensions, loft conversions, and design and build projects across South Wales. Founded on a shared passion for thoughtful design and high-quality construction, the business brings together architectural thinking and hands-on building experience to deliver carefully crafted spaces.
Harry and Niall first met through projects with CAUKIN Studio, when Niall travelled to rural Zambia to help deliver a kindergarten for a local charity-run school. From the outset, there was a strong alignment in values, work ethic, and approach. Niall later joined as a construction lead on community builds across Zambia, Indonesia, Uganda, and Borneo, where the pair spent extended periods living and building together on-site. These experiences shaped not only their working relationship, but also the foundations of CAUKIN Construct.
Coming from both architectural and construction backgrounds, they bring complementary perspectives to every project. This balance of design-led thinking and practical delivery ensures that ideas are not only ambitious and well considered, but also buildable, efficient, and grounded in real construction knowledge.
About Us
Harry brings over 11 years of experience in architectural design, working across a wide range of project types, scales, and locations. Through his work with CAUKIN Studio, he has also gained extensive on-site experience, physically building many of the projects he has helped design. This hands-on knowledge informs a more practical and grounded design approach.
Niall combines a background in architecture, having studied at Northumbria University, with over seven years of experience in the construction industry. His expertise includes roofing, carpentry, loft conversions, windows and rooflights, masonry, extensions, and landscaping. This breadth of experience ensures that projects are delivered with both precision and efficiency.
Our Experience
CAUKIN Construct works closely with its sister practice, CAUKIN Studio—an award-winning architecture and design studio with over a decade of international experience. This collaboration allows us to offer a seamless design and build service in South Wales, guiding clients from early concepts through to completed construction.
By combining design and construction under one roof, we provide a single point of contact throughout the process. This reduces complexity, avoids miscommunication, and helps keep projects on programme and on budget. Most importantly, it ensures that the original design intent is carried through into the finished build, with careful attention to detail, materials, and overall quality.

CAUKIN Construct is based in Cardiff and works across South Wales, as well as parts of Mid Wales and South West England. Through our wider network, we also have strong links to Lytham, Newcastle upon Tyne, London, and the South Coast including Brighton and Sussex.
